Long Play Mode: Full Count Goes At-Bat By At-Bat
21 May 2026

Two Dials On The Same Engine
Cup of Coffee resolves games in a minute or so in quick play mode. The original long play mode took about Five to seven minutes a game. A full minor league season fits in an afternoon.
The new Long Play Mode provides a deeper game that feels much more like baseball, in that it resolves every plate appearance instead. Thirty to forty-five minutes a game on the tabletop. Same teams, same BAT / PIT / DEF / CLS ratings, just a different dial on the same engine.
Use it when a single game deserves the attention - a home opener, a rivalry, the deciding game of a playoff series. Use the main game for the other 150 games of the year.
How It Plays
Look up the at-bat target on a 7x7 lookup table - your team's BAT row, opposing PIT column. Roll 3d6. Hit, walk, or out. Hits get a 2d6 type-roll - singles, doubles, triples, home runs. Doubles and triples can be erased by a defensive gem. The closer enters the table in the 9th save situation.
No new ratings. No new dice. The same numbers you spent half an hour rolling up for your league - they just work harder now.
And the real deal? The game helper app allows you to play in a browser.
