Full Court — College Basketball Tournament Simulator

One Roll. One Winner.

Full Court is a dice-driven college basketball tournament simulator. Every game is resolved with a single d20 roll per team — no board, no app, no setup required.

A full 64-team bracket takes around 90 minutes. A single game takes two minutes. Bring a die and a bracket sheet.

How It Works

Every team has a Team Strength Rating (TSR) derived from their Net Rating — the most reliable predictor of tournament performance.

Before rolling, look up both teams' base scores on the included matrix. Find your TSR on the row, the opponent's on the column. That's your base score — no calculation needed.

Then roll a d20. A roll of 1 is a collapse (-18). A 20 is a historic night (+22). Everything in between is the drama of March.

Add the modifier to the base score. Higher total advances.

The ratings do the heavy lifting. The dice provide the upsets.

What's In the Pack

  • Full rules — the complete system in one document
  • 2026 NCAA Tournament team ratings — all 64 teams rated by Net Rating and TSR
  • Base score lookup matrix — no calculation needed, just cross-reference and roll
  • 64-team bracket — pre-filled with the 2026 NCAA draw, ready to play
  • Blank bracket sheet — use for any tournament, any era, any teams
  • Game scoresheet — track seeds, records, Net Rating, TSR, base scores, rolls, and final scores. Four games per page.
  • Quick reference card — the full system on one page

Replay Any Tournament

Rate any team using their season Net Rating and assign the TSR. The thresholds are calibrated to tournament-level basketball and work across any era.

Run the 1985 tournament. Replay 1992 Duke vs Kentucky. Build a custom 64-team invitational from scratch. The blank bracket and rating scale handle all of it.
