The Masters 2026 — Tabletop Golf Simulator

8 April 2026

The Masters 2026 — Tabletop Golf Simulator

Four Rounds. One Champion. All Dice.

The Masters starts Thursday. While the world watches Augusta, you can play it.

The Masters 2026 Tabletop Simulator is a dice-driven golf game for 1–8 players. Each golfer has five rated attributes. Each round uses a different primary stat. Roll 3d6, apply your modifier, look up your score. Four rounds later, someone's wearing the green jacket.

A full tournament takes about 30 minutes. A single player tracking one golfer takes less than ten.

How It Works

Every golfer in the field has a player card with five stats rated 1–5:

  • DRV — Driving. Distance, par 5 scoring, aggressive lines.
  • APP — Approach. Iron play, greens in regulation.
  • SHT — Short Game. Chips, sand saves, recovery shots.
  • PUT — Putting. Holing putts, avoiding 3-putts.
  • CLT — Clutch. Pressure performance on the Sunday back nine.

Each round focuses on a different stat. Thursday is Approach. Friday is Putting. Saturday is Driving. Sunday is all about Clutch — and if you're within 3 shots of the leader, you're making a Pressure Check.

Roll 3d6, add your stat modifier, look up the score table. Hit a total of 18 or more and you trigger the Charge Table — Augusta is singing. Hit 5 or less and you're on the Capitulation Table — Augusta has got you.

Augusta Specials

The course has its own personality built in.

Par 5 Opportunity fires in rounds 1 and 3. Roll a d6 — on 5 or 6, improve your score by 1. The reachable par 5s are there to be attacked.

Amen Corner Danger fires in rounds 2 and 4. Roll a d6 — on a 1, your score worsens by 1. Holes 11, 12, and 13 have ended plenty of Masters in real life.

Masters Momentum rewards consistency — if your round score improves in consecutive rounds, you carry a +1 bonus into Sunday.

The Cut

After Round 2, anyone at +3 or worse is eliminated. The leaderboard tightens. The real Masters begins.

Play Your Way

The game is designed to flex around how much time and attention you want to put in.

Full tabletop — print the player cards, grab your dice, play every round by hand and track scores on the scorecard. The full experience.

App only — let the simulator run the whole field automatically. Animated dice, live leaderboard, instant results.

Mixed mode — the most popular way to play. Auto-sim the field, but take manual control of one or two golfers you care about. Roll your own dice for McIlroy, let the app handle the rest. Your golfer's score feeds into the live leaderboard alongside the simulated field.

The cut is yours to call. After Round 2 you see the full leaderboard and decide where the line falls — standard Masters cut, aggressive cut, generous cut, whatever makes sense for your tournament. Only then do the weekend pairings form.
