Classic Cup Finals: Ten FA Cup Finals for Match Day
16 October 2026

Ten finals, twenty clubs
Blackpool and Bolton in 1953, with Matthews 38 and losing 3-1. The Busby Babes at Wembley, champions and one game from the double. Wolves in 1960, Spurs in 1961. Sunderland from the Second Division against the holders. Brooking's header. Wimbledon against a Liverpool side that lost two league games all season. Di Matteo inside a minute, Kanu in 2008, and City's 6-0 to finish a treble.
Every club is the side that played that season, with that season's goalscorers on its team card.
Replay the finals
Each final has its own page with the two sides, how they came into it and a line for your result. What happened on the day is printed underneath. Wembley is neutral, so nobody takes home advantage, and a draw goes to extra time and penalties or a replay.
Or play them all
Twenty clubs makes a league. The fixture list runs to 38 rounds, home and away, with both Match Ratings printed beside every game and a space for the score. The pack includes a League Ladder: cut the slits, slide the club tabs in and move them after every round.
Or put all twenty in a hat. The cup draw tokens cut out square, and the draw sheet runs from a preliminary round through the last sixteen to a final.
You need Match Day Book One: Quick Play to run the matches.
