Match Day is a paper-and-dice football game for people who care about league tables more than ninety-minute simulations. Three stats per team. A handful of dice. A complete season at the kitchen table.
Matches resolve in 1-2 minutes. A full Premier League season fits comfortably across a few evenings.
How It Works
Every team has three ratings: ATK (attack), DEF (defence), and a third dimension that shapes character. Roll for each side, apply the home advantage, and read the result. Goals, draws, late winners, scrappy 0-0s - they all come out of the dice without forcing the maths.
If you want more depth, swap to the Long Play engine - twelve event-by-event moments per match, around 7 minutes per game. Same ratings, more drama.
If you want a cup run, jump to the Cup Play book - knockouts, extra time, penalty shootouts, narrative tables.
