The Problem With PFR Schedules

If you've ever pulled a schedule from Pro Football Reference to start a tabletop project, you'll know exactly what this is for.

PFR formats schedules around the result — Winner on the left, Loser on the right, with an @ symbol if the winner was the away team. Which sounds manageable until you realise it means the home team is often buried in the Loser column. Not ideal when trying to run projects.

This free tool fixes it in a few clicks.

How It Works

1. Go to Pro Football Reference, find your season, click Schedule
2. Hit Share & Export → Get Table as CSV
3. Highlight and copy the data to your clipboard
4. Open the Schedule Transformer and paste it directly into the window — or import the saved CSV file from your computer
5. Click Transform
6. Download the clean CSV — Home Team, Away Team, scores, yards, and turnovers all in the right columns

That's it. A full NFL season schedule cleaned up in seconds.

What You Get in the Output

• Home Team / Away Team — correctly assigned, no more hunting for the @ symbol
• Home Score / Away Score — flipped where needed
