Seconds Out is the new TTX Sports boxing game. A complete fictional world: 64 rated boxers across 8 weight classes, every division populated with a champion, contenders, prospects, a veteran, and a journeyman.
No real boxers, no rating debates. Just an engine and a roster ready to play.
Two Modes, One Engine
Quick Play resolves a fight in 30 seconds. Roll 2d6, add the Fight Rating, add a Form Check, read the outcome. Run a full division's title night in 10 minutes.
Round-by-Round goes the distance. 12 championship rounds, 10-point must scoring, knockdowns, cuts, stamina drain from round 7. Doubles on a round roll trigger in-fight events: cuts, low blows, the highlight reel uppercut. Use it for the marquee fights.
Same four-stat system either way: POW, BOX, CHN, STA. The world plays the same. The texture changes.
A World That Lives
Off-season Career Rolls determine whether each boxer grows, plateaus, regresses, or retires. Prospects rise. Champions defend until they're caught. The Rankings Refresh updates the title shot queue every 4 fights.
When a boxer retires, you roll up a new prospect using the Name Tables. The world replenishes itself. Annual snapshot packs (Year 5, Year 10) will follow.
