The Scorer is a browser-based stats tracker built for club cricket. No install, no spreadsheet setup, no account required. Open it in any browser, enter your squad, and start logging matches.
It handles everything a scorer or club statistician needs across a full season — match results, batting and bowling entries, averages, leaderboards, and fantasy points.
How It Works
Set up your team name, season, league, and player roster in Setup. From there, every match follows the same flow:
- Log the match — opposition, venue, team, scores, result
- Enter batting figures for each player
- Enter bowling figures for each bowler
- The averages, summaries, and leaderboards update automatically
Data saves to your browser automatically. Bookmark the file and it's there every time you open it.
Scoresheet Entry Mode
The fastest way to enter a full innings. Instead of adding one player at a time via a form, Scoresheet Entry opens a table with every player as a row — just like the paper scorecard in your hand. Tab across the fields, fill in each player's figures, hit Save All. The whole innings is logged in under a minute.
Filter by Team
Club players often turn out for multiple XIs across a season. The Scorer tracks which team each match was played for, so you can filter batting and bowling averages by 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI and more. A batter with 7 innings for the firsts and 3 for the seconds shows different averages for each.
Fantasy Points
Every player earns fantasy points based on their performance — runs, boundaries, wickets, maidens, economy, fielding. The formula is fully configurable in Setup. Turn it on or off at any time.
